As with all her books, this one deserves top rating! It's filled with lots of clean romance, mystery, wonderful characters of Clear Creek and it's another book you won't want to put down!Logan Kincaid is on his way back to Clear Creek and his employers the Cook brothers, when suddenly two Indians come slowly riding up to him, in the middle of nowhere. As if that doesn't surprise him, what they drop on the ground and then leave, certainly stuns him!
What he thinks is a dead woman, he is taken aback as she begins to moan. She's alive! Yet when he looks at the bandage wrapped around her head, he realizes he's been left with a beautiful woman who has been shot on the side of her head and is close to death. Worse yet, when he finally is able to get her to come to for a few moments, he learns the terrible news that she doesn't know who she is or what happened to her!
All he knows is now he needs to do whatever he can to keep this beautiful woman alive! Logan nurses her the best he can, encouraging her to hang on. She's in and out of consciousness and Logan tells her they have to call her something, so he informs her that he'll call her Fred after his favorite horse! Logan's happy to see the slight angry reaction he'd hoped from her and that gives him reason to believe she may just be tough enough to survive what's to come. They are days away from Clear Creek or any other town, so she'll have to be!
I'd recommend this hilarious, clean, attention grabbing romance of Logan and "Fred", on their long journey, ups and downs and the people they interact with back to Clear Creek, to anyone who enjoys a great, clean and thoroughly entertaining romance! Read it, you'll love it!

On to the next book...... They all have been very good..... Not one better than the others. I have enjoyed them all do far.
This is my favorite of the series so far.I loved the book because there was humor added to it and made it more realistic.I love the entire series and honestly didnt think I would care for this one but ended up not wanting it to end.
I loved this western romance book. It was very interesting and I would recommend it to all my family and friends. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
I enjoyed all of the Prairie Brides series. Fairly clean romantic western book. Kit Morgan does a good job of just giving you little snips of the previous books, and just a taste of the next.
Great Series.
I am looking so forward to reading this book. I've read the others that go in the series and loved them. I've read three chapters of His Prairie Sweetheart and I love the sense of humor in it. Only a great, kind, loving, concern hero would name a lady after his horse. This is a must read if you've read the first four books in the series. This is a stand alone book but it will make it more fun to read if you know the backstory. Thank you Kit Morgan for writing such great books.

I have loved all of the Kit Morgan books I have read to date, and it is hard to choose one over the other.. Everyone of the deserves a 5 star review. The plots are ingenious, several series being set in a particular town for each series. In spite of this there are no cookie-cutter plot, and characters are all unique and engaging. I heartily recommend Kit Morgan's books to all those who love a romance with a blend of action and mystery.
